Computer Academy

Our place is tucked away in Dakhin Tola, over in Siwan. Most people around here know us as the Computer Academy, and we’ve been operating out of Prof. Bindeshwari Prasad’s building for a good while now. Rajeew Ranjan is usually the one you’ll see handling the day-to-day stuff. It isn’t a very big setup, just a few rooms filled with computers and some old wooden desks that have seen better days. We spend our mornings getting everything turned on and making sure the internet is behaving, which isn't always a sure thing around here. The street outside is usually pretty noisy with rickshaws and people heading to the market, but we’ve gotten used to it. We don't really do much fancy advertising or have a big flashy website. It’s mostly just students from the local area coming in to learn how to type or use some basic software so they can find work. Sometimes the power cuts out and we all just sit around talking until the backup kicks in. It’s a simple life, honestly. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just helping folks get a handle on technology. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the machines work well enough for what we need. If you’re ever near Dakhin Tola, you’ll find us right there, just doing our usual thing with the students and the keyboards.
