Asha Janch Ghar

Asha Janch Ghar is situated inside the Rajesh Complex over on Hospital Road. It’s near Annda No. 3, which is a spot most people in the area know. Being on Hospital Road means it’s always crowded with people rushing back and forth. We set up here because it’s convenient for patients who are already visiting the doctors nearby. Inside the complex, it can be a little quieter than the main street, which is nice. We spend most of our mornings getting the machines ready and making sure everything is wiped down. It isn’t a very big space, but we have enough room for folks to sit while they wait for their turn. Most of us here have been working together for a long time, so we have a rhythm. We see a lot of tired faces every day, so we just try to get the work done without making things more complicated for them. Sometimes the electricity acts up, so we have to deal with the generator, but that is just how things go here. We handle the samples, do the reports, and hand them out when they are ready. It’s simple work but it keeps us on our toes from morning until the sun goes down. People find us easily enough once they get into the complex. We just do our jobs and go home. We are just a local lab doing our bit for the community here.
