Akrai Infrastructure is located in a small village called Marachhi in the Siwan district. We are based in Tola Marachhi, at the house of Binna Devi. It’s a quiet, rural place far away from the big city lights. Our office is very basic because we spend most of our time out where the infrastructure is actually being built. We handle things like roads and local building projects in the Narakatia area. Being in a village means we have a very personal connection with the work we do. We know the local geography and the people who live here. It’s not a corporate environment at all. There are no suits or ties in our office. We just wear what’s practical for the weather and the dusty sites. Sometimes the power goes out in the village, so we have to wait a bit to get back to our computer work. We don't mind. It’s part of living here. We manage our materials and our labor force directly from this spot. It’s a lot of coordination and hard work. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to make us look bigger than we are. We are just a local business trying to improve the infrastructure in our own part of Bihar. It’s honest work and it keeps us grounded. We’ve been here for a long time and we know how to get things done.
