Winner Mills is up on the first floor of the Municipal Golden Jubilee Building, at No. 2. It’s a well-known building in the area, so most people don't have trouble finding us. Being in a municipal building means there’s always people coming and going, which gives the place a lot of life. Our office is fairly basic. We’ve got some desks, a lot of files, and samples of the textiles we deal with. We don't really have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will be there working on a ledger or talking on the phone. We handle a lot of the coordination for the milling work from here. It’s more of an administrative hub than a factory floor, but it’s where all the decisions get made. We’ve been in this building for some time and have gotten to know the other people working here. It’s a practical setup for us. We aren't interested in looking like a big corporation with shiny glass walls. We just need a place to sit, think, and get the paperwork done so the mills can keep running. It’s honest work and we try to stay organized, even if the desk gets a bit messy during a busy week. Just a local business doing what we do.
