Siva Stickers

Siva Stickers is located on Bsr Road, which is part of the Tn-67 area in the Sivaksi taluka. This whole district of Virudhnagar is known for this kind of work, and we are right in the thick of it. The shop is a regular sight on the road, nothing too flashy on the outside. We spend our days dealing with rolls of paper, adhesive, and the smell of ink. It’s a dusty area and the sun can be really strong in this part of Tamil Nadu, so we usually keep the front shutters halfway down to keep the heat out during the peak hours of the afternoon. There are always stacks of finished stickers waiting to be picked up or sent out to various clients. We don’t have a big fancy office, just the workspace where the machines sit and a small area to talk to people who come in. The traffic on Bsr Road is constant, with lorries and bikes going past all the time. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just part of working here. We’ve been doing this for a long time, so we know the local rhythms and the way things work in the taluka. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy things and making sure the cuts are right. It’s not glamorous, but it’s what we do and we’ve been at it long enough that the routine feels like second nature now. We just take it day by day.
