You can find us at No. 185 in the P.A.P Colony. It is a fairly quiet area, which is nice when we are trying to get through all the accounting and order forms. We run an agency here, so we act as the middle link for a lot of different goods coming through. Every morning starts about the same, with us opening up the shutters and checking what came in on the late trucks. There is always a list of people to call and shipments to track down. We don’t have a big corporate structure or a bunch of managers walking around. It’s just a few of us making sure that the products get from the suppliers to the local shops without too much trouble. Sometimes the paperwork gets a little backed up, especially at the end of the month, but we eventually get it sorted. The space is filled with the smell of old paper and the sound of a ceiling fan that’s seen better days. We’ve got a small area where we keep the records, and it’s getting a bit full, but we know where everything is. It isn't a high-tech operation with fancy computers everywhere. We use what we have and focus on making sure the customers get their orders. It’s a steady way to spend the day, and we like the routine of it all in this part of town without any extra fuss.
