Jayasri Print Pack

You can find us over on Sivakasi Road, specifically in Kamarajapuram Colony. Being in this part of town means there is always the sound of machinery somewhere in the background. Jayasri Print Pack is really just a bunch of us working with paper, ink, and boxes all day long. The floor is usually covered in some kind of scraps, and the smell of printing ink is something you never quite get out of your clothes. We’ve got our machines set up in a way that works for us, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. It’s a practical space. We don’t have a front desk person or a waiting room with magazines. If you come by, you’ll likely find us right in the middle of a job. Sivakasi is a busy place for this kind of work, so we have to stay on our toes to keep up. Some days the machines act up, and we have to spend a few hours fixing them ourselves. That's just part of the deal. We take orders, we print them, and we pack them up for delivery. It’s straightforward work. Most of us have been doing this for years, so we know the quirks of the presses. We aren't looking to be the biggest shop in town, just one that does the work right. It’s a bit noisy and dusty, but it’s our living and we are proud of the stuff we finish.
