Our press is located at number 90 on Velayutham Road, which is right across from Yit Road. You can usually tell you are close by the sound of the printing machines and the faint smell of ink that hangs around the entrance. We have been operating here for a long time now. The shop is filled with stacks of paper and heavy machinery that has seen a lot of use over the years. It is not the cleanest place in the world because printing is a messy business, and ink seems to get on everything no matter how careful we are. We started this press to handle local jobs for the people and businesses in this part of town. Most of our work comes from regular customers who have been coming to us for years. It is a lot of physical labor, moving heavy reams of paper and keeping the machines oiled and running. We don't have a big office or a fancy waiting room. Usually, customers just stand by the counter while we check their files or show them a proof. Sometimes a machine breaks down in the middle of a big run, and we have to spend hours getting it back in order. It is frustrating, but that is just part of running a print shop. We are just a small crew working hard every day. It is a solid, honest way to make a living, and we appreciate the people who support us.
