Down here in Sivagangai, we’ve got our shop on Vellayuthaswamy Koil Street. It’s a narrow road with a lot of movement, especially with the temple being right there. We are at number 73. It’s a workshop environment, so you’ll hear the machines running as soon as you get close. We deal with CNC work and auto parts, which means things can get a bit greasy. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, and there's a strong smell of machine oil in the air. We don't have a fancy waiting area or an air-conditioned office. It’s just the shop floor and a small desk where we keep the books and take orders. Most of us have been working with machines for years, so we know the sounds they make when something isn't right. We don't do much advertising; people in the area just know where we are. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in overalls, busy with a piece of equipment. The heat in Tamil Nadu is no joke, so we keep the big doors open for whatever breeze we can get. We take our breaks at the tea shop at the corner of the street. It’s a simple, hardworking life. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local machine shop that does its work properly. It’s honest labor and we’re happy to be part of the Sivagangai community, helping out whoever drops by.
