Vallal Mena Hospital

Vallal Mena Hospital is situated on Rameswaram Road in Kodikottai. It’s a local place, and we’ve been part of the Kodikottai community for a good while. The road outside can get a bit dusty, and there’s always something going on in the neighborhood. We aren't a massive medical center with dozens of floors. We are just a straightforward hospital for the folks around here. The building is simple, painted a plain color, and we try to keep it as cool as possible during the hot months. People walk in from Rameswaram Road all the time, sometimes just to ask a question or get something checked out. We don’t have a big corporate board or anything like that. It’s just us, the doctors, and the nurses who live nearby. We know the people who come here, often by their first names. We handle a lot of the usual stuff you’d expect. Sometimes we run out of chairs in the waiting area, so people just lean against the wall and chat. It’s that kind of place. We don't use much fancy language when we talk to patients. We just tell them what’s going on and what needs to happen next. It’s practical work. We’ve had the same sign out front for ages, and the doors have been opened and closed thousands of times. It’s just home to us. We’ve seen kids grow up and bring their own families here to Kodikottai. We’re still on the same road, doing the same work as always.
