Our business, Udhayam Textiles Private Limited, is found at 11/2/39I on Madurai Road in Tirupattur. This is in the Sivaganga district of Tamil Nadu. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The building is right on the main road, so it’s easy to spot. We deal with all kinds of textiles and fabrics. It’s not a fancy showroom with air conditioning and lights. It is a practical warehouse and shop. There are rolls of cloth everywhere and the smell of fresh cotton. We aren't looking to sound like a big company. We are just local folks who know the textile trade. People from the nearby villages often stop by to see what we have in stock. We don't have a big website or do any fancy marketing. We just have our name on the front and our stock inside. My family has been doing this for years. It gets dusty and hot during the summer, but that is part of the job. We spend our days measuring cloth and talking to customers. It’s a simple life and we like it that way. We don't have a corporate mission. We just want to sell good fabric at a fair price. If you are passing through Tirupattur on the way to Madurai, you’ll likely see our sign. We are usually there from morning until late evening. It is just a regular shop doing regular business every day. It's how we make our living here.
