Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda Hospital

This hospital is located at 2-5-28 on Pudukkotai Road. It’s a local place where we provide various medical services to the people in the area. We’ve been around for a bit and the building has some history to it. It’s not one of those new glass-and-steel hospitals you see in the big cities. It's more of a traditional, solid building. We have a name that's quite long, but most locals just know us by where we are on Pudukkotai Road. The staff here are mostly local people who have been with us for a long time. We don't have a corporate office or a big board of directors making decisions from far away. It is just the doctors and the support staff on-site. Sometimes the rooms feel a bit dated, but they are clean and they serve their purpose. We don't use fancy medical jargon unless we really have to. We prefer just explaining things simply so everyone understands. Pudukkotai Road can get quite busy with buses and lorries, so the front of the hospital is often a bit noisy. Once you get into the wards, it’s much quieter. We see a lot of people from the surrounding villages and the town itself. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we just rely on doing our jobs well enough that people come back. We don't have a cafeteria, just a small place to get water and wait.
