Larsen Toubro Ltd ( Ecc Division)

This branch is the ECC Division for Larsen Toubro Ltd down in Karaikudi. We are located at 33A KVS Nagar, right on Kalanivasal Road. It’s in the Sivaganga district of Tamil Nadu. The air here is often warm and you can smell the local food from the stalls nearby during lunchtime. Our office is a straightforward place. We have some posters on the walls and maps of the local area pinned up so we know where our sites are. It’s not very big, but it fits the few of us who work here daily. We deal with a lot of paperwork related to construction and engineering. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s a very local feel here. We speak the language, we know the shortcuts on the roads, and we understand how things move in this part of the state. We don't spend money on fancy furniture. Most of our chairs are just standard plastic or old wood. We focus on the tasks at hand rather than how the office looks. It’s a place where work gets done by hand and by head. People stop by to ask questions or drop off letters. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay on top of the list of things to do. It is a humble office but we stay busy.
