Km Trading

Km Trading is right on Temple Road in Pallathur. It’s a good location, especially with the temple nearby bringing people through the street all the time. We’ve been operating from this building for quite some time now. It’s an old structure with high ceilings, which helps keep it a bit cooler in the summer months. We do trading, which means a lot of loading and unloading throughout the day. There’s usually a bit of a mess near the back entrance with crates and wooden boxes. We don't mind it much. It shows we are actually working. We don't have a team of marketing experts or a polished sales pitch for everyone. We just talk to people plainly. If someone needs something specific, we check if we have it in the back room. Pallathur is a small place, so reputation matters more than any advertisement you could buy. We keep our books by hand mostly, though we have a computer for the official government stuff now. The street gets very narrow when the local festival is on, but we just work around it. We are just ordinary people running a trading business. There are no fancy uniforms here. We just wear what’s comfortable for moving heavy things around. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it long enough that it feels like second nature now. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay organized.
