Barath Two Wheeler Spares

Barath Two Wheeler Spares is situated at 11, D D Road in the Dadubaikottai area. Most of the locals know where we are because we are very close to the old Chitra Theater. That theater isn't what it used to be, but it still helps people find our shop. We deal mainly in spare parts for bikes and scooters. Our shelves are pretty much overflowing with all sorts of things, from tiny screws to larger engine components. It’s not always the cleanest place, as there is a lot of metal and grease involved in this business. D D Road can get quite crowded with traffic, which makes parking a bit of a challenge sometimes. We’ve been at this location for years, and the building shows its age a bit. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know where every part is kept. Sometimes a customer comes in with a part we haven't seen in a long time, and we have to dig through the back to find a match. It’s just how we do things here. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. People just know to come to number 11 if they need something for their two-wheeler. It’s a steady kind of life, and we like being part of the Dadubaikottai community. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
