Aruunan Nidhi Limited

Our office is over in Salaiyur, Ilayangudi, at 240/3 on Kamarajar Road. It is a bit of a way out if you are coming from the main part of Sivaganga, but most people know the road. We are a Nidhi company, so we mostly help local people save their money and maybe take out small loans when they need a bit of help. It’s a small building, and we’ve tried to keep it clean and tidy. We have a few people working here who grew up in the area. We aren't like those big banks where you are just a number. Here, we know if your kid started school or if you’re planning a wedding. We sit down and talk over tea. The paperwork can be a bit much sometimes, but we try to keep it moving so people don't have to wait too long. We have a lot of regular savers who come in every week with their passbooks. It’s nice to see the same faces. The street outside can get dusty when the wind picks up, so we keep the door shut mostly. We just do our work, keep the books balanced, and try to be helpful where we can. It’s a quiet life and a steady business. We’re just part of the neighborhood, same as anyone else.
