Ss Nails Traders

Down here in Village Majigram, things move at their own pace. We started Ss Nails Traders because there was a need for someone to keep stock locally without people having to travel all the way to the bigger towns in Birbhum. Our place is right in the heart of the village, easy to find if you know the area. We mostly handle the trading side of things, getting nails in and making sure they get to the carpenters and builders around Taluka Suri. It’s a lot of manual work, checking invoices and stacking boxes against the walls. The floor is usually covered in a bit of metal shavings or just dust from the road. We don’t really do fancy displays here. If you want to see what we have, you just walk in and ask us directly. Sometimes we run out of a specific size and have to wait for the next delivery, which can be a bit of a headache with the local roads. But mostly, we stay stocked up for the regulars. It’s a simple living. We know most of the people who come through the door by their first names. We spend our mornings opening up the shutters and seeing who stops by first for a chat. There isn't much more to say about it. We’re just a small group of people working in Majigram, trying to make sure the local construction doesn't stop for lack of a few kilos of nails. It’s honest, plain work that keeps the community moving along.
