About Debi Green Bricks – Building & Construction Material in Siuri
Debi Green Bricks is located out in Vill: Burema, which is part of the Gohaliara panchayet. If you are heading towards Bokkreswar in the Birbhum district, you will find us tucked away there. It’s a quiet area compared to the city, mostly just fields and local folks going about their business. We focus on these green bricks, which is why we have the name. It’s a bit different from the old red clay kilns you see everywhere. Out here in Birbhum, the soil and the air feel different. We spend most of our mornings getting the mixtures right and setting the molds. The sun can get really hot in the middle of the day, so we usually take a break under the trees before finishing up. People from the village often stop by to chat or ask about a few bricks for a small repair at home. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us working the land and making something useful. Sometimes the roads get a bit muddy after a heavy rain, making it tough for the trucks, but we manage. Being in a rural spot like Burema means we have to be self-reliant. We keep our tools sharp and our stacks neat. It’s hard work, but seeing a new house go up nearby using what we made feels okay. We just keep our heads down and stay busy here in the village, making bricks one day at a time.
