Sri Krishna Traders

Our shop is tucked away at Plot No- 73 in Prem Nagar. Being right near the Shivshankar Mandir means we hear the temple bells all day long, which is actually quite nice once you get used to it. Sri Krishna Traders isn't a very large place, but we pack a lot into this small space. There are boxes stacked up to the ceiling in the back room and sometimes it’s a bit of a struggle to find exactly what a customer is asking for right away. We spend a lot of time checking our inventory and talking to the people who stop by after visiting the temple. It gets busy in the mornings and evenings during the prayer times. The street outside is narrow, so deliveries can be a bit of a headache when the truck can’t get close enough. We end up carrying things by hand quite a bit. My hands are usually a little dirty from handling the goods we trade, but that’s part of the job. We have a small desk where we do all the paperwork, and it’s always covered in receipts and half-empty chai cups. It’s a quiet enough life here in Prem Nagar. We aren't trying to be anything big, just keeping the business moving and making sure the regulars are looked after. Sometimes the rain leaks in a bit near the door, but we just put a bucket down and keep going.
