Sitapur Eye Hospital

Our place, Sitapur Eye Hospital, is located right in the Civil Lines area. It is pretty easy to spot because we are right near the main landmark itself. People usually just say it is near the hospital, even though we are the hospital. It gets a bit confusing for new visitors sometimes. We spend most of our time looking at eyes and helping folks who can't see as well as they used to. There are always patients sitting on the benches waiting their turn. It is a noisy place during the day with everyone talking and the staff calling out names. We do a lot of eye tests and checkups for people from all over the neighborhood. The doctors stay busy in the back rooms. We don't have many decorations or anything, just the stuff we need to work. Sometimes the equipment needs a bit of a nudge to get going. We have been in this part of Civil Lines for quite some time now. Most of the staff has worked here for years. We know the regulars by name. It is a lot of work, but someone has to do it. We see old people, kids, and everyone in between. Some just need glasses, others need more serious help. We just get on with the job every morning when we open the doors. It's a plain building, but it serves its purpose for the community.
