We are based out in the village of Purva, in the Dasapur area of Sitapur district. Our house number is 127. It’s a rural setting, so things are a bit slower and quieter than in the big cities. We go by the name Shuklabandhu Organic Producer Companylimited. It’s a long name for a group of people who are mostly just focused on organic production. We don't have a fancy office building. Most of our work happens right here in the village or out in the fields. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers and looking at crops. The address is just where we keep our records and meet up to discuss things. Being in Sitapur, we are surrounded by agriculture, so it makes sense for us to be here. We don't have a website with flashy graphics or a marketing team. We just know our neighbors and the people we work with. Life in Purva is pretty simple. We follow the seasons and do what needs to be done when it needs to be done. It’s hard work sometimes, especially when the weather isn't cooperating, but it’s what we know. We are just a group of local producers trying to do things the organic way. There’s no big secret to it, just a lot of time and effort spent on the ground. We hope to stay here doing this for a long time.
