Safi Eye Clinic

Our eye clinic is over in Khairabad, right in the Moh-Sheikh Sarain area. If you are looking for us, we are quite near the Maqbool Miyan Ki Mazar, which is a good landmark for people who aren't from this specific part of Sitapur. We mostly deal with people who can't see as well as they used to. Older people come in for cataracts, and kids come in when they can't read the board at school. It’s a small setup. We have the charts on the wall for testing vision and a few machines for checking eye pressure. It’s a quiet part of town usually, except during festival times. We try to keep the clinic cool during the hot summers because the sun can be really bright out there. People often just walk in without an appointment, and we try to accommodate them if we can. We don't have any fancy posters or a big sign. It’s just a place to get your eyes checked. The floor is simple stone and we keep a few benches out front for people waiting. We've been serving this district for a while now. Most of our patients come by word of mouth from their neighbors. It's basic work but people need to be able to see to do their daily chores. We just stay open during our regular hours and help whoever shows up with eye trouble. It is important for us to be here for the local village folks.
