Biharilal Chhatrapal

We have been here at Loha Sandi in Gandhi Nagar for quite some time now. People mostly know us as Biharilal Chhatrapal and we just handle things the way they come. It is a busy area and the shop stays crowded on most mornings. We deal with whatever stock arrives and try to keep things organized, though it gets messy sometimes when the trucks arrive. My father started this and now we just carry it on because it is what we know how to do. You won't find anything fancy here. Just the regular stuff people need for their houses or projects. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking to the neighbors. Other days, we don't even have time to drink tea. We try to be fair with everyone who walks in through the door. The building is a bit old and the shelves are heavy with all the items we keep. It is not a big showroom or anything like that. It is just a local place where work happens. We know most of the faces that come around here. Gandhi Nagar has changed a lot over the years but our spot remains pretty much the same. We don't spend much on decorations or signs because people already know where we are. We just open up early, do our work, and head home in the evening. It is a simple life and we are okay with how things are running.
