Amratgyan Global Foundation

Amratgyan Global Foundation is located at House Number 85 in Village Chhi. We are in the Biswan block of Sitapur, and our mail goes through the post office in Shivthana. The pin code is 261201. Being in a rural area like this means we are surrounded by fields and a lot of hard-working people. Our office is just a part of the house really. We didn't want to go to a big city to start this. We felt that staying here in the village was more important. We don't have a website that looks like it belongs to a big company. We just have our names and this house. Most of what we do involves talking to the farmers and the families around the Biswan block. We listen to what's going on and try to offer a hand where it makes sense. It’s not always easy because resources are thin sometimes, but we make do with what we have. The name has "global" in it because we like to think about the bigger world, but our heart is right here in Chhi. We spend a lot of time on the dusty roads traveling between villages to see how things are going. It’s honest work and it feels right to be doing it here. We don't have fancy titles or a strict schedule. We just work until the sun goes down and start again the next day. It’s a quiet but good life.
