Ukb India Nidhi Limited

Ukb India Nidhi Limited is based in Patluka, specifically in the Singhachauri area of Bokhra. We are located at Virendra Kumar’s place. Sitamarhi is where we are registered. It’s a very rural setting, which we like. The office is basically a small room where we handle all the Nidhi business. We have our registration papers on the wall and some chairs for visitors. The road to Patluka can be a bit bumpy depending on the season, but it’s our home. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot. Most of the people we deal with are farmers or run small local shops in Singhachauri. We don't use any complicated financial jargon. We just explain how the savings work in a way that makes sense to everyone. Sometimes the power cuts out, so we keep some hand fans around. It’s a very basic setup, nothing like the big banks in the cities. We prefer it this way because people feel more comfortable coming in. They know Virendra and they know they can just sit and talk. We keep our records carefully in big binders. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important for our little community. We just take it one day at a time, making sure everything is handled properly and honestly.
