This is a small construction setup located in Ward 23 of Budhwari Tola. We are an OPC, so it is mostly a one-person operation with a few helpers for the heavy lifting. We focus on building and repair jobs right here in our own community. The streets in Budhwari Tola are narrow and crowded, which makes it a bit tricky when we have to bring in a cement mixer or a truck. We do not have a big office with staff. Our workspace is just a simple room where we keep our tools and look over our accounts. We do all sorts of work like laying floors, fixing leaky roofs, and putting up walls. It is noisy and messy work, and we are usually covered in dust by the end of the day. We do not use any complicated language to explain what we do. We just build things. Sometimes the rain stops us for a few days, which can be frustrating when we have a deadline. We buy our materials from the local shops nearby. Most people in the ward know us by name, so we get our work through simple word of mouth. We are not trying to be a giant company. We just want enough work to keep the lights on and the crew paid. It is a very basic way of making a living by building for the neighbors around us.
