Our office is located at Shakir Hussain’s place in Pupri, which is part of the Sitamarhi district. It’s a local operation, and we’ve been here for a while now. Milaan Engicon is basically a group of us who do engineering and construction work around the town. Pupri is a busy place, and there’s always something being built or repaired in the market area. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us who know the trade. We focus on getting the jobs done without any extra fluff or fancy talk. You won't find any glossy brochures here. Most of our days are spent checking on sites or talking to laborers. It’s a hands-on kind of business. Sometimes the weather in Sitamarhi doesn't cooperate, especially during the monsoon when the rain never seems to stop, so we have to plan our schedules carefully. We've had our share of ups and downs like any other small business in Bihar. Some projects go smooth, others have constant delays with materials or transport. We just deal with it as it comes. We’ve grown up in this area, so we know the people and the land. It’s important to us that we do a decent job because we have to see our neighbors every day. We keep the overhead low and the focus on the work itself. That's how we've always done things here at Shakir's place. It’s not fancy, but it works for us and the local community. We just take it day by day.
