Mata Sita Sunder College Of Education

We are located out in the village of Dhanhara, which is part of the Manik Chowk area in Sitamarhi. It’s a quiet place, quite far from the big city life you see in places like Patna. Being in a rural spot in Bihar means we have to be practical about how we run things. The college focuses on education and training teachers, and most of our students come from the nearby villages and towns around Runni Saidpur. We started this place because there was a need for a college right here so people wouldn’t have to travel so far away. The campus is simple, just some buildings where we hold classes and keep our records. You’ll find us easily if you follow the road towards the Manik Chowk post office. It gets a bit dusty in the summer and muddy when the rains come, but that’s just how it is in Sitamarhi. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles. The faculty and the staff are mostly locals or people who have moved here to help out. We spend our days going through the curriculum and making sure the paperwork is in order for the university. It’s a straightforward job. People know us in Dhanhara as the place where the future teachers go to study. We’ve been here for a while now and plan to keep things going just as they are for the community.
