Our little office is located in Village Nahra, specifically in the Nahra Tola area. It’s part of the Suppi block in Sitamarhi. We’re set up at Deenkar Singh’s place, which most people in the panchayat already know. It’s a quiet village setting, much different from the big cities. You won’t find any shiny glass buildings here. Instead, it’s just a simple room where we handle our business every day. Being in a place like Nahra means we see the same faces often, and everyone knows everyone else’s business. We spend a lot of time just sitting and talking with people from the village. The roads out here can be a bit rough, especially when the monsoon hits, but we stay open and keep things moving. Our work isn't complicated, but it keeps us busy from morning till late afternoon. There are no fancy suits here, just us in our regular clothes, trying to stay organized with our ledgers and papers. Sitamarhi is a good place to live, even if things move a bit slower than in Patna. We appreciate the pace here. When the sun gets too hot, we might take a short break, but otherwise, we’re at the desk. It’s a local operation, run by people who live right here in the community. We don’t need much to get the job done, just a desk, some chairs, and a bit of patience for the daily tasks.
