Dakshingramin Nidhi Limited

We are set up at Preve Jabad Gola in Sonpur. If you know where Nikhil Kumar lives, that’s exactly where you’ll find Dakshingramin Nidhi Limited. It's a busy little area, especially during the big fairs. We started this because folks in Sonpur needed a spot to handle their small bits of savings without traveling too far to the big city banks. The office is pretty simple. We have a couple of chairs for visitors and a sturdy table. It gets a bit crowded on Monday mornings when everyone comes in at once. We handle the usual stuff like recurring deposits and small gold loans when people need a bit of help for their crops or business. We don't use those complicated bank forms that take an hour to fill out. We try to keep things moving so people can get back to their work. Sometimes the tea guy from next door comes over and we sit and talk for a bit while we work. It’s a very local operation. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. Being in the Gola means there's always something going on outside. We don't have a big sign, just a small board near the entrance. Most people just ask around for Nikhil's place and they find us pretty quick. It’s a good spot to be. We like it here in Sonpur and we've been here since the start.
