Our business, Anuj Constructions Private Limited, is located in the village area of Tola-Kasba Mahua. It’s specifically in the Makundpur Chakpanch section of the Mahua Mukundpur block. Living and working in a village means you know everyone and everyone knows what you do. We aren't tucked away in a high-rise office; we are right here where the work is happening. Managing a construction company in Mahua block involves a lot of travel between different sites on some fairly bumpy roads. We mostly focus on residential buildings and small local structures. It’s practical work that requires a lot of patience, especially when waiting for the cement trucks to arrive from the city. We keep our records and have our meetings at our main spot in the village. It’s a bit informal, but it works for us. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just build things. Some days we are short-handed, and other days everything goes perfectly according to plan. That’s just the nature of construction.
