We are located in Vidyanagar right behind the stadium at Sadashiva Basavaraja Krupa. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads. Dealing with drip irrigation and farming supplies means we talk to a lot of people from the rural areas nearby. They come in looking for pipes, valves, or advice on how to get water to their crops more efficiently. Our shop floor is often covered in bits of plastic and manuals. We don't have a big fancy showroom but we have what people need to keep their farms going. Mornings are the busiest time because that is when the farmers travel into town. We spend a lot of time loading up trucks and checking inventories. It can be a bit slow in the rainy season but that’s just how this business goes. We’ve got a small desk in the back where we keep all the paperwork which always seems to be piling up. Sometimes the local kids playing near the stadium make a lot of noise but it doesn't bother us much. We just keep doing our thing day after day. It is satisfying to know that the stuff we sell helps someone grow their livelihood. We aren't looking to change the world, just trying to help the folks around here with their water problems. It’s hard work being out here in the sun all day but we wouldn't have it any other way. The coffee here is good too and there is always someone around to chat with.
