D. S Emu Farms

We are located out in Sircilla. It is a small village and mandal in the Karim Nagar district. D. S Emu Farms has been around for some time now. We decided to get into emu farming because it was something different for this area. Most people around here stick to the usual crops or cows, but we saw these birds and got interested. It is a lot of work every single day. The birds need a lot of space to move around, so we have big pens set up. Karim Nagar gets very hot in the summer, and we have to make sure the emus are doing okay in that heat. My family helps me out with the feeding and checking the fences. It is not like a regular office job at all. We are always outside in the dirt. Sometimes the weather is not on our side, like when it rains too hard and the ground gets muddy. But we just keep going. We do not have any fancy equipment or a big office. It is just the farm and the birds. We spend most of our time making sure they are fed and healthy. It is a quiet life out here in the village. We like it that way. People from the nearby mandals sometimes stop by to see what we are doing. We just show them around. It is an honest living. We don't have a website or anything like that. Just the land and the emus. It's how we spend our years.
