Peter Agro Farm

Peter Agro Farm is located at 9-22-58 on T S S Road in Devikere. We aren’t a massive commercial operation, just a farm where we handle various agricultural tasks throughout the seasons. The place is usually full of the smell of earth and whatever we’re growing at the time. We have a small shed where we keep the tools and the tractor. It’s often messy with bags of seeds and old containers, but it’s a working farm, not a museum. The weather in Devikere dictates our whole day. If it rains, we’re busy with one thing, and if it’s dry, we’re out watering the fields. We don't have a proper office; mostly we just stand around the gate or sit on the porch to talk business. It’s a hard life sometimes, especially when the pests get into the crops, but it’s what we know. Our neighbors on T S S Road are mostly farmers too, so we help each other out when a machine breaks down or someone needs an extra hand. We don't bother with fancy signs or advertisements. People just know where Peter’s place is. We spend our days outside under the sun, getting our hands dirty and making sure things grow. It’s a quiet, honest way to make a living in this part of the world. We just take it one day at a time here.
