Shri Bala Ji Steel

Shri Bala Ji Steel is right on the National Highway, specifically along Ding Road. It’s a very busy spot because of all the trucks and cars zooming past all day. The noise never really stops, but it’s good for business because people see us as they drive by. We keep a lot of steel stock piled up outside and inside the shed. Because we’re on the highway, we get a lot of people stopping in who are just passing through and need something quickly. It’s a dusty place, mostly because of the road, so we don't bother with much cleaning other than the essentials. We aren't a corporate office with people in suits. We’re usually in our work clothes, ready to move heavy pipes or sheets. The sun can be quite brutal out here on the open road. We have a small area where we sit and do the paperwork, but most of our time is spent out with the steel. We don’t use a lot of flowery language to describe what we sell. It’s just steel. If you need it, we probably have it in one of the piles. We’ve been here on Ding Road for a good while and have gotten to know the regular truck drivers who stop by. It’s a simple setup, but it works for us. We just stay open and wait for the next customer to pull off the highway and ask for help.
