Rania Sewa Association

Our spot is Shop No. 11 on S. Puria Road, right here in Rania. It’s a small shop, but it’s enough for what we do. The Rania Sewa Association is just a group of us from Sirsa who wanted to do more than just talk about problems. We decided to get together and actually do something. It’s not a fancy office by any means. There’s usually a couple of old chairs and a lot of folders stacked up. We deal with all sorts of things that people in the area need help with. We don't have any big corporate sponsors or anything like that. We mostly rely on each other and the people in the town. Sometimes things are a bit chaotic, and we might lose a pen or forget to lock the door once in a while, but the heart is there. We like being on S. Puria Road because everyone walks past and can just pop in for a chat. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big numbers or reports. We just want to know that the family down the street has what they need. It’s a bit of a struggle sometimes to keep things running, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We're just locals doing local work in Rania. We’ve been here for a bit and we plan to stay.
