M. D. Biocoals Pvt Ltd is located near Ch. Devi Lal Vidyapeeth on Barnala Road. It is a busy area with a lot of heavy vehicles passing by all the time, heading in and out of the city. The site itself is mostly taken up by our processing equipment and the large storage areas for the coal. It gets quite loud during the peak hours when everything is running at once. We have got a small crew of guys who have been with us for years. They know the machines better than anyone else. The location is convenient for the transport trucks, though the road can get pretty backed up on market days. We do not have much in the way of fancy furniture or air conditioning in the main work area. It is mostly just hard floors and metal roofs. We drink a lot of water and tea to stay going throughout the long shifts. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which gives everyone a few minutes to catch their breath. The proximity to the Vidyapeeth means we are part of a little community here, even if we are just doing our own thing with the biocoals. It is steady work, and we do not really try to make it sound like more than it is. We just focus on getting the product out and keeping the machines maintained so they do not break down on us unexpectedly.
