Kamboj Crane Services

Our place, Kamboj Crane Services, is located at Plot No. 170 in Meerpur. We are situated quite close to the airport, so we see planes taking off all the time while we are working on the machines. Having cranes means there is always a lot of maintenance to do, like checking hydraulic lines or greasing the joints so they don't rust up. The yard is mostly dirt and gravel, and it gets pretty muddy when it rains. We have a few different types of cranes parked here, and they take up a lot of room. Most of our work comes from phone calls when someone has a heavy load to move or a truck has gone off the road nearby. It’s unpredictable work because you never know when the phone will ring for a recovery job. We spend a lot of time sitting in the small office cabin, drinking tea and waiting for the next task. The tools are scattered around on the workbenches because we are always fixing something or another. It’s a tough job and the hours can be really long, especially if we are out on a site until midnight. We don’t mind it much though, it’s just what we do. The neighbors know us as the crane guys near the airport. It’s a simple operation, run by people who aren't afraid of a bit of hard work and heavy lifting.
