GREEN TOWER CHIT FUND PRIVATE LIMITED

We operate from House No. 128 on Street No. 3 in the Aggrsain Colony in Sirsa. It is actually Ashok Kumar’s place, and we have been running the chit fund from here for quite some time. It is a very local setup, very much a part of the neighborhood. People from the surrounding streets are our main members. They come by every month, usually on the same day, to hand over their contributions. It gets quite crowded in the small front room during those times. We have some plastic chairs for people to sit on while they wait their turn. We don't have any polished marble floors or glass partitions. It is just a regular home where we do business. We keep our records in thick registers because we find it easier to show people their balance that way. Everyone knows everyone else here, so there is a lot of chatting and catching up on local news while the paperwork is being done. We handle the money carefully and make sure every rupee is accounted for. Sometimes we stay up late to finish the monthly tallies. It’s a lot of manual counting and checking, but that’s just how we do things in Sirsa. We don't need any fancy advertisements because everyone in the colony already knows where we are and what we do. It’s a simple, honest way to help each other out financially.
