We operate out of Booth No-16 in Gandhi Market. It is a tiny little space, barely enough room for two people to stand inside at the same time if there are boxes on the floor. Gandhi Market is always packed with people looking for a bargain, so there is a lot of foot traffic right past our door. We do stuff with eco energies, which means we have solar panels leaning against the back wall and some heavy batteries sitting on the shelves. It is a bit of a squeeze, but we make it work. Most of our day is spent talking to folks who wander in asking how much they can save on their electric bill. We don't use big words or try to act like we know everything. We just show them the equipment and tell them what it does. Sometimes we have to go out to people's houses to look at their roofs, so the booth stays closed for an hour or two with a little sign on the door. The fan in here is quite loud, but it keeps the air moving. We don't have a glossy brochure or a big sign with lights. It is just a simple booth in a crowded market where we try to help people figure out their power situation. It is a lot of manual work and carrying heavy things back and forth, but that is just the way it is here.
