Durga Hardware & Plywood

We are over at Plot Number 6 in Industrial Area 1, which is a place that never really sleeps. There is always the sound of hammers or engines nearby. Durga Hardware & Plywood is a pretty basic setup. We have rows of plywood sheets leaning against the walls and shelves full of boxes containing every kind of screw or bolt you could think of. It is not a place for browsing like a mall; it is a place where builders and carpenters come when they need to get their supplies and get back to work. We spend our mornings checking the stock and unloading the bundles of plywood that come in on the flatbed trucks. It is physical work, and our hands are usually a bit rough from handling the wood and the metal hardware all day. We have been in Industrial Area 1 for a long time, so we know most of the other shop owners around here. We do not spend money on big signs or anything. People know we are at Plot 6 if they need a certain grade of board or some sturdy hinges for a project. It is just a regular hardware store where we try to keep the most useful things in stock so nobody has to wait too long. We just get on with our work and keep the inventory moving as best as we can.
