Dressing Sense

Our place is on Ghukanwali Road in the Lrg Layout. It’s a regular neighborhood spot, not one of those flashy areas you see in the city center. We’ve got a sign out front for Dressing Sense, but most people know us just from living nearby. The shop is on the ground level of a standard building. Inside, it’s mostly shelves and a few racks for the clothes we have out. I try to keep the place tidy, but when we get a new shipment, there are bags and plastic everywhere for a few days. I spend my time mostly helping people find their sizes or figuring out what might look okay on them. It’s a lot of small talk about the local news or the weather. Ghukanwali Road isn’t too loud, though you get the occasional scooter or car honking. We have a small changing room in the back that I had to fix the curtain on last week. It’s those little things that keep you busy. I usually open up in the morning and stay until the evening. The light in the afternoon gets a bit harsh, so I have to pull the shade down halfway. Most of our customers are the same people we see at the grocery store. It’s a comfortable, plain shop where we just sell clothes without any fuss. It’s been our routine for quite some time now and we like it that way.
