You can find Cisha Textile over at Shop No. 136B in the New Anaj Mandi. We share the space with Telu Ram Jagdish Rai. It's a loud and busy place, especially in the early mornings when the trucks are coming in and out. Being in the Mandi means there is always something going on, people shouting prices and laborers carrying heavy loads. We deal with various types of cloth and fabric. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here, nothing like the malls. We don't have air conditioning or fancy desks. It’s mostly just stacks of goods and people talking over tea. We’ve been here for a good amount of time now. People know us by name, which is how we like it. We aren't trying to be some big global brand. We just want to sell our textiles and make sure the quality is okay for the price people pay. Sometimes the market is slow, and we just sit and watch the rain, other times it’s crazy. We just take it as it comes. The shop is small, and things get dusty because of the location near the grain market, but that's just part of life in the Mandi. We have a few regular customers who come by every week. We sit on the cushions, have some tea, and talk about the trade. It’s a simple way to run a business. No big promises, just fabric and honest talk with our neighbors.
