Being located behind the Lal Ware House in the industrial area of Sirsa means we see a lot of trucks and heavy vehicles moving around all day. It is a bit dusty out here, but it is where the work is. Our office is tucked away in a spot that isn’t too hard to find once you know the landmark. We deal with a lot of people from the factories and businesses nearby. Inside, it is just a normal workspace with the usual office smell of paper and ink. We keep the ledger books and computers running from morning until evening. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or use the backup if it is really urgent. It is not a quiet place because of the industrial noise, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We have a couple of wooden chairs for visitors and a big table where most of the sorting happens. Most of our days are spent checking entries and making sure the math adds up. It is practical work, nothing more and nothing less. We drink a lot of water because it gets dry in Sirsa. People just stop by when they have a question about their accounts or some notice they got. We don't have a big sign or anything, just a simple door where the work gets done every day. It is just us here, working through the piles of documents.
