Taj Digital Studio

Taj Digital Studio is easy to find because we are right on Barnala Road, very close to the red light. You see a lot of people waiting at the signal while they look at our shop front from their cars. Inside, it’s a bit of a different world. We have our cameras and the backdrops set up for when someone needs a proper photo taken. We do a lot of passport pictures and family portraits for the locals. Sometimes people come in with old, faded photos they want us to fix up, and we do what we can with the computer programs. It’s quiet work mostly, focusing on the screen or adjusting the lights to get the shadow right. We have stacks of photo frames leaning against the walls and the smell of the printer ink is always in the air. Barnala Road is always noisy with the cars and trucks, but we don't mind it much anymore after being here so long. We’ve seen a lot of faces over the years, from kids getting their first school photos to couples getting ready for their weddings. We don't try to be the most modern or fancy place in the world. We just want to take a decent picture that people are happy to keep in their homes. It’s a small shop and we do everything ourselves, from taking the shot to cutting the paper. It keeps us busy and we like being here.
