Balaji Building Material

Our yard is in Kharia Village, just a short distance from the Sunshine Hotel. If you are in the Rania area, you’ve probably seen our sign. Balaji Building Material started because there was a need for a reliable place to get supplies without traveling too far into the bigger towns. We keep a bit of everything that you might need for a construction project, from bricks to sand and cement. It is a family-run kind of place, so you won't find any corporate layers here. We just open up in the morning and start loading the trolleys and trucks. The weather out here in the village can be a bit harsh, especially during the summer, but we stay open as much as we can. We know most of our customers by name since they live right here in the local area or nearby villages. It’s a simple business. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth is usually how people find us. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when a big shipment comes in, but we get it sorted out eventually. We try to give people a fair deal and just keep things moving. It’s not a high-tech operation, just a lot of manual labor and honest work. We are glad to be part of the community and help people build their homes.
