Aggarwal Fire Fighting

We've been at Plot No. 79 on Street No. 2 here in Lohia Basti for a good while now. It’s right near the Central Bank of India, so people usually find us pretty easily when they need fire stuff. We handle a lot of different things, like checking those red fire extinguishers everyone has hanging on their walls but forgets about. Sometimes we refill them or just make sure the pins aren't stuck. It's not flashy work, but fire safety is one of those things you don't think about until you really need it. My team and I spend most of our days out at different sites or here in the shop on Dehu Road. We deal with hoses, alarms, and basic gear that keeps buildings safe. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the equipment around, but that’s just how it is in this line of work. People in the neighborhood know they can just drop by if they have a question about a fire bucket or a hydrant system that’s acting up. We aren't some big city office with fancy desks; we just have our tools and a lot of heavy equipment. It keeps us busy from morning till evening. Mostly, we just want to make sure the equipment actually works if a fire ever starts, so we take the maintenance side of things seriously without making a big fuss about it. Just local folks doing a job we know well.
