This branch of Wolkem Industries Ltd. is located right at the Belkapahar Mine. If you’re looking for us, you have to head down Sirohi Road. It’s a bit of a drive, and you’ll definitely feel the bumps on the way out here. S. S. Ranawat is our Deputy Manager for the mining side, and his office is where most of the coordination happens. Working at a mine isn't like working in a city office. There’s a lot of noise, heavy machinery moving around, and you’re always going to get some dirt on your shoes. We don't mind it, though. It’s honest work. We spend our time managing the extraction and making sure the schedules are met. The Rajasthan sun doesn't make things easier, but we’ve got a rhythm down now. It's a busy site with people coming and going all the time. Being out on the Sirohi Road means we’re a bit isolated, but that’s where the minerals are, so that’s where we stay. We don't have time for fancy speeches or polished brochures. We just focus on the rocks and the logistics of getting them where they need to go. If you need to find Ranawat or the rest of the mining team, you’ll find us right here in the thick of it, probably wearing hard hats and looking at maps or clipboards. It is just the way we have always done things out here at Belkapahar.
