Living and working in Mount Abu is definitely something else. My name is Vj Nikhil Thakur and I’ve been based here for a good while. It’s a small place so most people know each other, or at least recognize the faces after a few months. I don't have a big flashy office with a view, just a simple workspace where I handle my projects. It’s quiet up here compared to the cities, which I really appreciate. Sometimes the weather gets a bit cold, but the air is always fresh. I started doing this because I wanted to work for myself and Mount Abu seemed like the right spot to stay. It’s not a massive business, just me mostly, taking care of what needs to be done. I don't really go for all that modern marketing talk. I just tell people what I can do and we go from there. If the work is good, people talk, and that's how I get most of my clients. It’s a slow pace of life but it’s honest. I’ve lived here long enough to see the tourists come and go every season. My setup is basic but functional. I keep my tools ready and my door open for anyone who needs to drop by. It’s just a regular local life. I’m usually around if someone needs to find me. No complications, just work. I think that's the way it should be.
