Surya General Stores

Surya General Stores is located right in the Sheoganj Dhan Mandi, specifically at Azad Chowk. Being in a grain market means there’s always a lot of dust and noise from the tractors and trucks passing by. I’ve been running this place for a while, and it’s filled to the ceiling with all kinds of things. I sell everything from notebooks and pens to snacks and toiletries. The shelves are cramped, and I usually have to move three things just to get to one. Azad Chowk is a busy spot, so I get a lot of people just passing through who need a bottle of water or a quick snack. I spend a lot of time standing near the front because it's too crowded inside to sit comfortably for long. The light inside is a bit dim, but I know where everything is kept, even in the dark. In the mornings, I spend time unloading crates and making sure the front display looks decent. The floor gets dirty pretty fast with all the mud from the mandi, so I’m usually sweeping every few hours. It’s a simple setup, no fancy displays or bright lights. I just keep the stock moving and talk to the farmers and workers who stop by. Sometimes the heat in Sheoganj is unbearable, but the thick walls of the shop keep it a little cooler. It’s a lot of work, but it is what I know.
